History

With a passion to "become the world's No.1 company," Nidec started business in a small prefabricated shed with only four employees. See the company's history between then and now.

Katsura Plant
Shigenobu Nagamori, current Chairman of the board & CEO, established Nippon Densan Corporation (now Nidec Corporation) in Nishikyo-ku, Kyoto with a capital of 20 million yen.
