History

1949年	April	TOKYO SOKUHAN Co., Ltd.founded, started manufacture and sale of standard measuring instruments.
1953	September	Started the production of Automobile Parts.
1962	January	New Construction of Sagami Factory (currently, Head Office-Technical Center).
1965	November	Transferred Head Office from Ota-ku , Tokyo to present location in Zama City ,Kanagawa Prefecture.
1978	April	Started the production of Engine Control Solenoid Valve.
1985	February	Started the production of AT Control Solenoid Valve.
1991	October	Changed name to TOSOK CORPORATION.
1992	April	Started the production of AT Control Valve Assembly.
1994	September	Jointly established TOSOK PRECISION (VIETNAM) CO., LTD. with NISSHO IWAI CORPORATION and AOKI SEIKI KOGYO CORPORATION.
1997	March	Joined in the NIDEC group.
1997	December	Jointly established NIDEC TOSOK (VIETNAM) CO., LTD. with NIDEC CORPORATION.
1998	October	TOSOK PRECISION (VIETNAM) and NIDEC TOSOK (VIETNAM) incorporated and established new "NIDEC TOSOK (VIETNAM) CO., LTD."
1999	October	Changed name to NIDEC TOSOK CORPORATION.

2002	March	Jointly established NIDEC SYSTEM ENGINEERING (ZHEJIANG) CORPORATION with NIDEC CORPORATION and NIDEC group companies.
2002	June	Established NIDEC TOSOK (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD.[NTSS]
2004	May	New construction of Head Office-Technical Center.
2007	December	Established Guangzhou Branch of NIDEC TOSOK (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD.
2009	April	Established NIDEC TOSOK SYSTEM ENGINEERING (ZHEJIANG) CORPORATION [NTKC].
2009	August	Established NIDEC TOSOK AKIBA (VIETNAM) CO., LTD.
2011	January	NTKC changed its name to NIDEC TOSOK (ZHEJIANG) CORPORATION [NTZC].
2011	January	NTSS changed its name to NIDEC TOSOK (SHANGHAI) CORPORATION.
2012	February	Established NIDEC TOSOK UOGISHI (PINGHU) CORPORATION [NTUC].
2012	April	Established NIDEC TOSOK PRECISION VIETNAM CO., LTD. [NTPV]
2012	October	Established SUZHOU TECHNICAL CENTER in China.
2013	September	Become a wholly owned subsidiary of　NIDEC CORPORATION.
2014	May	Established NIDEC TOSOK de MEXICO S.A. de C.V.[NTMX]
2016	January	NTUC changed its name to　NIDEC TOSOK DIE CASTING (PINGHU) CORPORATION [NTDC].
2017	December	Merged a Chinese production company and a die cast manufacturing company into NIDEC TOSOK (ZHEJIANG) CORPORATION
2019	May	Constructed the third plant of NIDEC TOSOK (ZHEJIANG) CORPORATION. Started production of "E-Axle"
2023	April	Changed name to NIDEC POWERTRAIN SYSTEMS CORPORATION.
