1989 The company develops and delivers the world's first electric power steering controller (EPS).
1991 The company establishes a business bases in South Korea.
1992 The company establishes a business bases in the United States.
1994 The company installs in a car an anti-pinching power window switch, the first of its kind in the industry.
2002 The company establishes a business bases in Germany.
2003 The company establishes a business bases in Thailand.
2005 The company establishes a business bases in China.
2006 The company establishes a business bases in Brazil.
2007 The company establishes a business bases in India.
2010 The company is carved out of OMRON Corporation as OMRON Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd.
2014

OMRON Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. integrates the business of OMRON Iida Co., Ltd.

2016 OMRON Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. establishes a business base in Mexico.
2019

OMRON Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. joins the Nidec Group, and changes its name to Nidec Mobility Corporation.
