Nidec Corporation (TSE: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY) (“Nidec” or the “Company”) today announced that its four machine tool subsidiaries, i.e., Nidec Machine Tool Corporation (“Nidec Machine Tool”), Nidec OKK Corporation (“Nidec OKK”), PAMA S.p.A. (“PAMA”), and Takisawa Machine Tool Co., Ltd.
(“Takisawa Machine Tool”), will exhibit their products at the 13th China CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT2024), a machine tool exhibition to be held in Shanghai, China from April 8 – 12.

In this upcoming event, Nidec will showcase its lineup of machine tools, enhanced by the lathes of Takisawa Machine Tool (a lathe manufacturer that joined Nidec last November), that meet the needs of all industrial needs. Under the “One Nidec” policy, the four Nidec Group companies will feature machine tools that satisfy the needs of automobile, robot, semiconductor, energy, construction and agricultural machinery, aerospace and aviation and space, and many other industries, as well as solutions for various machining needs and types of production.

In addition, with the collaboration of the Pinghu, Zhejiang gear and machining center factory in operation since September 2022, PAMA’s Shanghai factory, and Takisawa Machine Tool’s Zhejiang factory, the companies boast high-quality production, sale, and service-providing systems in China.

Aiming to achieve its FY2030 consolidated net sales target of 10 trillion yen, the Nidec Group is poised to accelerate the expansion of its machine tool business.

Product	Main feature
HMC500 + automated transport (a horizontal machining center)	By combining an automatic work transfer device with this horizontal machining center, which is optimum for the processing of mid-size components (400 - 500mm square), the company will propose automation and manpower reduction. In this exhibit, Nidec OKK will exhibit, for the first time, the machining center whose production has started in its Pinghu factory.
MVR-Hx (a doublecolumn machining center)	The company will exhibit this double-column machining center, a high-end model that can process a variety of works ranging from molds to general components. In addition to the product’s mechanical capabilities, the company will appeal its excellent operability, safety, and economic efficiency as well.
GPH25A (a dry-cut hobbing machine)	The company will showcase this crude processing machine, which performs high-efficiency machining on gears with diameters of up to 250mm. With the launch of GPH25A, the successor to GPH15A (the new product produced in the company’s Pinghu factory and exhibited in CIMT2023), the company will promptly deliver the product with cutting tools to the Chinese market.
ZE26C (a gear grinder)	A machine to finish a gear’s tooth surface with a high-degree accuracy, ZE26C is equipped with bias modification, polish grinding, and other cutting-edge functions. This product meets the needs for the mass-production of high-precision gears, which will be used in growing numbers in EVs, robots, and many other products going forward.
Precision cutting tools	The company will exhibit a variety of gear-cutting tools and broach cutters. With the latest coating machines to start operating at its Pinghu factory this August, the company will use this event to appeal its new coating work and after-sale services such as sharpening and recoating.
MP Scale (a location detector)	This product is the company’s latest scale that detects the travel distances of machine tools’ axes, carrier devices, etc. Based on the products where its scales are installed, the company meets its customers’ needs with the excellent lineup of products (linear/rotary, thin/slim, etc.) with the perfect resolution levels.

Speedmill B (a horizontal boring and milling machine)	A floor-type horizontal boring and milling machine with a movable column, Sppedmill B uses a linear roller guide on its X and Y axes as well as a 5,000rpm direct drive spindle to process large works with high speed and precision.

TT-2100G (a parallel twin-spindle CNC lathe)	The company will exhibit CNC lathes that contribute to high productivity and automation. The TT series can be applied to a variety of automation systems while consolidating processes with the simultaneous front-back machining function, and reducing cycle time with the symmetrical machining technique.
