This is an upgrade of one of Nidec OKK's bestselling machines!! With its main unit made more rigid than before, this model now boasts better accessibility to its works, easier maintenance, and user-friendliness. As with its predecessor, each of VM43RII's feeding guide devices uses a highly precise and rigid rectangular sliding box guide way. In addition, with the use of the No.50 taper spindle, this model can machine a variety of works, ranging from general components to titanium and other difficult-to-cut parts.

The product's features
Column base
With the base of its column made into a taper shape to make the base 50% wider, and with parts of its main unit made into a high-rigidity, box-type structure to allocate diagonal ribs (of a triangle rib structure) properly, this model is rigid and excellent in absorbing vibration. Thanks to synergies with the sturdy triangular guide on each sliding surface, VM53RII boasts smooth cutting performance and high-quality finished surfaces.
Spindle
By adopting storable built-in steps and wide internal steps as standard, this model makes it easy for the user to step inside it, perform setups, work inside the machine, etc. With the improved accessibility (with the distance from the cover's front section to the table 411mm, and the table height of 1,000mm), the model is easier to operate than before.
Spindle
With the adoption of Nidec OKK's reputable and unique cam-type and high-speed synchronous tool exchanger (patented by Nidec OKK), this model boasts stable tool exchange and excellent durability. With a double-side contact spindle installed as standard, VM53RII can handle tools of up to 380mm in length. With a cooling oil circulation circuit in place for the head of its gear spindle's front section, this model can suppress temperature rise by 14%.
