The main transmission oil pump is designed as an external gear pump without internal pressure regulation. It draws the oil (on the suction side) with the help of a special filter and delivers it over the pressure side to a downstream control module.
- Depending on the oil demand of the coupling, an additional return flow is used on the intake side to regulate the excess funding volume of the oil pump. The flange-mounted pump is suitable for thin, friction-optimised gear oils. Because of a special material selection it reaches a high efficiency.
