Sankyo completed prototype musical movement in Japan.

Structure set up for mass production of musical movements.Sales began.

Tokyo Branch Office established.

1953

Osaka Branch Office established.Rorganized as Sankyo Seiki Mfg. Co.,Ltd.

1957

Shimosuwa Plant began operation.New York Representative Office opened.Production of 8mm cameras and projectors commenced.

1959

Nagoya Branch Office established.Production and sales of time switches and micromotors began.

1961

Stock listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.Paid-in capital was \530 million.

1962

Stock listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.European Representative Office opened in West Gemany.Sales of precision machime tolls began.

1963

production of tape recorders commenced.

Production and sales of level meters began.
