Upcoming Email Security Improvement Measure (Revision to the DMARC Policy)
To: All Business Partners of Nidec Corporation
Thank you very much for your continued support for Nidec Corporation (“Nidec” or the “Company”). This is to inform you that, to enhance its email security system and prevent impersonation-caused damage, the Company has decided to change part of its DMARC policy regarding emails transmitted from Nidec Corporation and Nidec Group companies that use the domain subject to the policy.
1. Effective date
Tuesday, September 01, 2026
2. Domain subject to the above measure
@nidec.com
3. Change to take effect
The following change will take place for the DMARC policy for the domain:
Before: none
After: quarantine
4. Impact to be caused by the change
No specific changes in settings or operations will be required for the recipients of this message.
5. Cautions
In some cases where information goes through an email forwarding service, a mailing list, etc., a valid email from the aforementioned domain may be judged as spam. If you are unable to receive emails from the domain, or if such emails are kept in a spam folder, etc., please take the following actions:
・If emails from the domain are marked as spam, please change settings to designate them as non-spam emails.
・If you are unable to receive emails, please contact your company’s system administrator about allowing emails from the domain to reach your mail box (listing the domain as one allowed to use, registering the domain on an Allowlist, etc.).
6. Inquiries
For inquiries, please fill out the form at https://www.nidec.com/en/inquiry/request/corporate/, and submit it to Nidec’s Information Systems Department.
We apologize for any inconveniences that this change may cause. Your understanding and cooperation for us to create a safe email environment would be truly appreciated. Thank you.
