Soft AC monitors load during cutting operations, and controls feeding speed - a function that improves machining efficiency, and that protects tools.
Soft AC automatically controls the feeding speed so that the load on the spindle remains stable. This function prevents excessive load-cased damage to tools, and shortens machining time. In addition, to protect tools, Soft AC suspends automatic operations when the value on the spindle's road meter exceeds setting value.

1. Adaptation Control Function
This function automatically controls the feeding speed override to stabilize the value in the spindle's road meter.
2. Air Cut Shortening Function
With this function, the user can increase the feeding speed during non-cutting operations up to by 200%.
3. Tool Problem Monitoring Function
This function monitors the value on the spindle's road meter, and stops operations when the value exceeds a preset value, when the system determines that there is an unusual load on the tool.
(There is a "Soft CCM," a function limited to the tool problem monitoring only, available as well.)
4. Consecutive unmanned machining during a problem with a tool (Option)
