Flexible guide type
There is no need to replace the guide. Set an arbitrary helix angle in the NC program and process the helical gear.
NC relieving mechanism (ST40A option)
The relieving operation is controlled by NC so that arc-shaped crowning and taper machining (up to ± 0.3 degrees) are made possible by NC programed operation.
