Nidec Corporation (TSE: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY) (“Nidec” or the “Company”) today announced that its four machine tool subsidiaries, i.e., Nidec Machine Tool Corporation (“Nidec Machine Tool”), Nidec OKK Corporation (“Nidec OKK”), PAMA S.p.A. (“PAMA”), and Takisawa Machine Tool Co., Ltd.
(“Takisawa Machine Tool”), will exhibit their products at the 13th China CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT2024), a machine tool exhibition to be held in Shanghai, China from April 8 – 12.
In this upcoming event, Nidec will showcase its lineup of machine tools, enhanced by the lathes of Takisawa Machine Tool (a lathe manufacturer that joined Nidec last November), that meet the needs of all industrial needs. Under the “One Nidec” policy, the four Nidec Group companies will feature machine tools that satisfy the needs of automobile, robot, semiconductor, energy, construction and agricultural machinery, aerospace and aviation and space, and many other industries, as well as solutions for various machining needs and types of production.
In addition, with the collaboration of the Pinghu, Zhejiang gear and machining center factory in operation since September 2022, PAMA’s Shanghai factory, and Takisawa Machine Tool’s Zhejiang factory, the companies boast high-quality production, sale, and service-providing systems in China.
Aiming to achieve its FY2030 consolidated net sales target of 10 trillion yen, the Nidec Group is poised to accelerate the expansion of its machine tool business.
