Nidec Drive Technology to Exhibit Products at the 8th Metal Forming Fair Tokyo (MF-TOKYO 2025) to Unveil the World’s Fastest Link Press with Industry-Leading 3,000spm

Nidec Drive Technology Corporation (“Nidec Drive Technology” or the “Company”) announced today that it will exhibit products at the 8th Metal Forming Fair Tokyo (“MF-TOKYO 2025”), an event to be held at Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) from Wednesday, July 16 – Saturday, July 19, 2025.

This upcoming exhibition will witness Nidec Drive Technology debut SX-8-360, a link press that boasts the world’s fastest speed of 3,000spm. This super-fast, high-accuracy press that minimizes thermal displacement is equipped with a “health monitoring” function that supervises a press machine’s conditions. In addition to this product, the Company will showcase an actual “inline vision & welding system” (by Nidec SYS GmbH*1) to demonstrate applications that contribute to quality management and production improvement.

Further, visitors to MF-TOKYO 2025 will be able to see Nidec Drive Technology’s many other manufacturing-related items, including TVX-4000-430, which is a new, 400-ton press designed for the production of large motor cores, and feeding equipment and rolling systems (by Nidec VAMCO Corporation*2).

With an 8t machining capability and a highly rigid and accurate bottom-dead-point control by a link mechanism, SX-8-360 enables super-fast and highly accurate press machining.
2		New product Designed for the production of large motor cores TVX-4000-430 (A panel featuring this product will be displayed.)	TVX-4000-430 is a large press machine equipped with a 4.3m bolster and a top-type mounting capability of up to 6,000kg. A quick-lift mechanism, a guidepost, and five plungers make this equipment highly rigid and accurate, while securing excellent workability.
3		Nidec SYS’s inline vision and welding system (An actual machine will be on exhibit.)	This system, which has both image inspection and welding functions, is an automatic inspection and discharging solution for high-speed stamping lines. As part of a production line, this system realizes quality management and automation in a space-efficient and highly accurate manner, and helps improve productivity.
