Nidec Drive Technology Corporation (“Nidec Drive Technology” or the “Company”) announced today that it has developed three new models compatible with large robots to be part of the solid-shaft type (EH-N) of the Company’s precise-control gearboxes, the KINEX series. 

The models of the KINEX series, which are large, high-precision, high-rigidity, and low-noise gearboxes, are widely used as key components of, among other applications, industrial robots and machine tools that require highprecision positioning. The newly added three models (EH-160N, 380N, and 500N) boast both “advanced rigidity” and “light weight and compact sizes.” These models reliably achieve high precision even with a heavy load, while offering greater design flexibility, and use space efficiently. In addition, with the KINEX series, Nidec Drive Technology is capable of six-axis configurations of mid- to large-size industrial robots (weight capacity: 130 – 300kg). With its product lineup of gearboxes ranging from small to large models, the Company is able to meet the robotics industry’s demand for larger models.   

The Company will unveil these new sizes of gearboxes at International Robot Exhibition 2025 to be held at Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) from Wednesday, December 03 – Saturday, December 06, 2025 (Booth: E5-27, East 4-6 Hall).
